The slogan for CUMC Sports is "Playing with a Purpose." We believe that we can honor God in everything we do, including sports, recreation, and fitness. Sometimes the purpose is maintaining the temple of God in a yoga or Pilates class. Sometimes it is chatting with other believers in a craft group, and sometimes it reaching out to the community with a basketball. Everything we do, is, and should be about the glorification of God and the growth of His kingdom. That is our purpose. You will begin to see this slogan more and more in our publications and advertising. When you see it, think of what your purpose is and how you can build upon it.
